In an attempt to visualize geometric and spatial reasoning, I discovered the theory of mathematical knots. While abstract, these forms are representative of the shape of the universe, a closed loop that cannot be untied or unbound. This moving poster illustrates the concept of prime knots by rendering them in three-dimensional space. The color, type treatment and materiality were intended to create a futuristic look and feel.
