This is a comprehensive identity for the Museum of Object Design, a product design museum located in New York City. The identity was inspired by the architecture of the building itself, a design by Steven Hall originally intended for the Shenzhen Art Museum and Library. The building consists of a three-part removal to introduce grand ideas, to observe objects of validation, and to focus on the products themselves. This modular experience creates a sense of dimensionality and understanding of the objects, which are as versatile and flexible as the space itself. While structured, the forms hold opportunities for exploration.
MOD's mission is to provide an integrated environment for their visitors to experience product design in a variety of different applications.
Completed for a branding project at Parsons School of Design. All imagery and typography was sourced for proof of concept.
